In this second program in the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Techniques and Strategies Series, Keith S. Dobson, Pamela A. Hays, and Amy Wenzel educate the client about problematic behaviors, behavioral self-monitoring, and becoming more resilient to unfavorable circumstances. The guest experts demonstrate how to use exposure, and how to execute role-playing difficult situations with the client so that he or she will develop effective coping strategies. Following each demonstration clip, the three experts explore the context and background of the techniques shown and discuss variations on how they might be used.
