Medstock Film is a transparent highly permeable adhesive polyurethane, ideal for retention of primary dressings and suitable for use on dry to low exudate wounds, skin tears, donor sites, IV sites and suture lines. Available as individual dressings in various sizes and by the roll.

Product Performance

• Transparent and waterproof
• Allows for faster healing and avoids maceration by retaining natural wound exudates and allowing excess exudates to evaporate
• It can stay on for up to 7 days depending on level of exudate
• It provides protection against friction and shearing
• It provides protection against contamination and bacteria as it is impermeable to water and body fluids allowing area to be washed
• It is thin and flexible with good viscosity
• It does not roll up on the skin and is easy to remove, minimising pain
• Does not leave adhesive on the skin post removal
• Roll design and grid mapping makes it easy to use and economical
