Entomed Tympanometer TY-101

The TY-101 is an entirely flexible system, in the standard configuration, the device includes impedance measurements and ipsilateral reflexes to test middle ear health. With the addition of a dedicated headset, the TY-101 will also measure contralateral reflexes.

To gain a deeper understanding of the inner ear health, TY-101 offers measurement of otoacoustic emission (OAE) as an option.

Transient Evoked OAE (TEOAE) is a fast and objective test to decide whether the inner ear condition is normal or near-normal. TEOAE is often used for screening of newborn children.

For additional investigations, the TY-101 can measure Distortion Product OAE (DPOAE). DPOAE measurements provide additional spectral information for a more detailed analysis.
