Cancer Poetry Project

The weekly diary of the late writer and broadcaster, John Diamond, helped free writing about cancer from many of its taboos. Cancer sufferers, those who have gone and those who survive, their friends and families, caregivers, health workers, and others, have all commended the power of the written word. The Cancer Poetry Project, presents over 100 of the most compassionate and supportive poems (selected from more than 1,200 submissions worldwide) written by cancer patients and those who love them, to other sufferers whoever and wherever they may be.
